ENGLAND - SCOTLAND

Loch Ness, Loch Lomond, Isle of Skye - many places which relate to adventures and particularities are connected with Scotland! The Highlands naturally belong to the beloved Highland Games and in the south are separated from the Lowlands by a tectonic line called the 'Highland boundary fault'. This fault goes diagonally across Scotland from the Firth of Clyde in the south west to Stonehaven in the north east.

The Highlands are split in two by the almost 100km long Great Glen Fault. In the Great Glen valley there are three lakes of which Loch Ness is the most well-known. To find out about the Highland Games see www.scotland.de .
