FALKLANDS - CARCASS ISLAND

Carcass Island is an oasis of calm. The only farm of the island is hedged by huge broom bushes and surrounded by palm trees, too. Due to this the farm appears even more idyllic, as trees are generally very rare on the Falkland Islands. Only one man lives on Carcass Island, offering to visitors lodging as well as knowledge about the island's animal population.

Here on Carcass Island Southamerican Terns hutch their young, but of course many penguins and birds of prey can be observed, too.

Whoever likes seclusion in a pleasant surrounding is in good hands with Rob McGill, supported by his Chilean cook Adele and her smart husband Juan.
