NEW ZEALAND - SOUTH ISLAND

The best of all five continents a well known travel gives this good description of New Zealand to become familiar with the impressive landscapes, the huge Flora and the rich Fauna which exists of many different types of animals. In Omaru for instance you can watch the so called blue necked Penguins coming home close to dawn and jumping to their nests. And in Otago Peninsula Albatros is breeding or crossing with 3.50m of wings in impressive flight this island. Starting from here via the Red Tussack areas to Te Anau will finally arrive at an excellent point for hiking and walking trails i.e. to the Milfort Sound, where the coastline gives everybody unforgettable sights. Looking for tourist attractions like Bungee Jumping or jet boat driving you will find the right place in Queenstown but just one hour far in the north you can stop at Wanaka Lake for one of the most beautiful jogging trails I have ever seen – lupines over lupines along the way.
 
Tip: In Wanaka you will find the restaurant Sasanoki by the Japanese Hisashi Sasaki, who mixed New Zealand cuisine with recipes from Japan. A dinner during sunset in his restaurant is excellent.
