CAPE TOWN

Cape Town is the third biggest town of South Africa and the location of the parliament, too. With the huge and cloudy table hill the skyline is worldwide well known and many visitors take the chance to climb (by chairlift) this hill with its spectacular view.
In a distance of approximately 50 km in the south you will arrive at the Cape of Good Hope as it is placed in the Atlantic Ocean. 200 km from here you will get finally to the southest point of Africa which is called Cape Agulhas. Here the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic eventually meet.

.

Beside many other highlights and especially for friends of penguins you will find a special attraction close to Cape Town. At boulders beach you can observe a bigger colony of Humbold Penguins. If you try to swim here by yourself it happens that small black underwater flashes will very quickly pass you – no chance to catch up!
